A man lit a fire in Raheny Garda station last night before being apprehended by gardaí.
The man, thought to be in his late fifties, was accosted by officers who extinguished the fire.
It is understood the man had a container thought to contain petrol.
One person was taken to hospital and the fire caught slight damage to a corridor.
