Another man was released without charge after being questioned about the attack in Magherafelt.

The body of the victim, whose identity has not yet been made public, was discovered in the hallway of a house in the Baron's Court area of the town at around 5am yesterday.

Meanwhile two men were still being questioned by detectives in Derry about the separate murder of a 19-year-old from Ireland in the city.
