If you're interested in bubbles (and this year few people aren't), get to Gibney's Annual Wine Fair in the Grand Hotel Malahide on Tuesday, November 9th by 7.30 p.m. That's when the Champagne Hour starts - with all 13 participating wine companies popping different corks over 60 minutes. But there will be plenty of still wines on offer, too, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. If it's anything like last year's fair, it will be a knockout. Tickets £8 (or two for £15) at the door or from Gibneys-Cheers Malahide; all proceeds to local schools.
