A SYNDICATE of 13 people celebrated a £2,195,690 Lotto jackpot win in the Locke Bar, Limerick, on Saturday night.
They are members of the staff of the Arthur Quay's shopping centre who have been taking part in a syndicate for several years. They share almost £175,000 each.
The group includes the general manager of the complex, Mr Jim Kenny, Willow Grove, Redgate, Limerick, who is married with four children; a supervisor, eight members of security and three members of the cleaning staff.
Mr Kenny said: "I am very pleased. All I did was pay in £1 a week for the last seven years. He said they would all be back at work today.
