Longford Town claimed their second trophy in as many years with a 2-1 eircom League Cup win over Bohemians at Flancare Park tonight.
Longford wasted no time in banishing the demons of last year's eircom League Cup final defeat to St. Patrick's Athletic with a ferocious 30 yard left foot strike from Sean Dillon.
Despite some good second half pressure from Bohs, Longford added a second through Sean Prunty in the 81st minute, before Ryan grabbed a consolation with five minutes to go.
