Liverpool have announced the first screening of a pay-per-view Premiership football match on the Internet.

The clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford will be available to watch on-demand from midnight on January 22nd.

The game will be available free to fans who subscribe to the club's "E-Season Ticket" scheme but will be made available for pay-per-view for £2.99.

Liverpool chief executive Mr Rick Parry told the club's website: "By showing the complete Manchester United v Liverpool game, we are giving our fans an additional opportunity to follow their club whether they are in Bootle or Bangkok".
