Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council has said that the traveller woman whose husband was shot dead in July could be facing another legal action to force her to move. Mrs Josephine McCarthy and her nine children have been moved twice since the murder of her husband, John.

Mrs McCarthy and her sister, Christina, have been offered two bungalows on Glendruid complex in Killiney, Co Dublin.

Mrs McCarthy and three relatives and their families are living in six caravans at Glendruid and have been told that the caravans will have to go before they can be allowed to move into the bungalows.
