Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink's 90th minute goal for PSV Eindhoven sent Leeds United crashing out of the UEFA Cup tonight, the Dutch giants progressing to the last eight with a 1-0 aggregate win.

It seemed the tie was destined for extra-time until Vennegoor of Hesselink bravely headed in from close range after Theo Lucius' shot came back off the crossbar.

Leeds defender Dominic Matteo could be in trouble after television pictures appeared to show the Scottish international manhandling the scorer while the Dutchman was sprawled out following his winner.
