Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr has opted for an attacking line-up as his side prepare to take-on Switzerland in a make-or-break Euro 2004 qualifier in Basel this afternoon.
Kerr was afforded the luxury of recalling Robbie Keane, who returns from an injury he picked in a friendly against Australia at Lansdowne Road last month.
Up front he will be joined by the in-form West Ham striker David Connolly. Further attacking options will come from the flanks, in the form of Damien Duff and Kevin Kilbane.
Ireland need to win in Switzerland if they are to have any chance of qualifying from Group 10. Switzerland currently lead the group on 12 points, while Russia and Ireland are on 11.
Should both teams win tonight Russia will secure automatic qualification after beating Ireland in Moscow and drawing in Dublin.
