Several Israeli jeeps and a tank moved into the Palestinian town of Bethlehem early this morning only hours before a suicide bomber killed 10 people on a Jerusalem bus.
The pre-dawn raid saw six Palestinians, three brothers from one family and three from another, being arrested.
The army pulled out of the West Bank town on August 19th under a security agreement whereby the Palestinians would guarantee an end to anti-Israeli attacks in return for renewed autonomy and an end to reoccupation.
Israeli Public Security Minister Uzi Landau told reporters at bus blast scene in Jerusalem that the suicide bomber came from Bethlehem, just to the south.
