Jerusalem - Israel has rebuffed the latest in a series of Irish Government requests to allow a group of 25 Irish pilgrims, who were summarily deported from Israel last October, to come back to the Holy Land in time for the Pope's scheduled visit in late March, David Horovitz reports.
Despite the fact that the group was apparently deported in error, the Israeli authorities are adamant that they will not be allowed back until after the Pope's visit.
