A woman in her 20s has been killed following a single car collision in Co Westmeath on Thursday evening.
The fatal single car crash occurred on the L1122, Ballinagore, in Co Westmeath, shortly after 8:15pm on Thursday evening.
The woman was the driver and sole occupant of the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar where a post-mortem will take place at a later date.
Garda forensic collision investigators are examining the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, including road users who were travelling on the road and may have dash camera footage to make this available to them.
