Up to 40 Justin Bieber fans removed from train by gardaí

Further Dart delays on Wednesday after truck collided with bridge

Gardaí have removed up to 40 teenagers from the Dart on their way to the Justin Bieber concert in the RDS.

It followed complaints from rush hour commuters that the gang of “Beliebers” were engaged in anti-social behaviour. They were alleged to be vandalising train carriages.

Irish Rail staff responded to complaints and contacted gardai who met the Dart at Booterstown station in south Dublin from where between 30 and 40 of the teenagers were removed.

The incident added to rush hour Dart delays on Wednesday which began when a truck collided with a bridge near Pearse Street Station.
