Sinn Féin launches its own programme to mark Easter Rising centenary

Sinn Féin has launched an alternative Easter Rising programme to the State events for next year’s centenary commemorations.

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams said the launch of the Government’s own programme in November had been a “bad joke” and the much-criticised Ireland Inspires 2016 video has been withdrawn.
