Iraqi Information Minister MohammadSaid al-Sahhaf urged the world "not to believe" US claims of havingtaken key sites in Baghdad and said Iraqi forces had taught them "alesson that history will never forget", during an impromptu pressconference in a Baghdad street today.

Mr Al-Sahhaf said: "Don't believe these invaders and these liars.There are none of their troops in Baghdad."
He added that "our heroic forces have killed hundreds" ofAmerican soldiers who entered the Dora neighbourhood in the north ofthe capital.
In smiling, defiant mood, Mr al-Sahhaf said: "We killed them, wemade them drink poison and taught them a lesson that history willnever forget."
