Manchester United defender John O'Shea faces an anxious wait today to learn the full extent of an injury to his knee.

O'Shea jarred the knee when he stepped on the ball during the Republic of Ireland's draw with Russia at Lansdowne Road yesterday, then limped out of the action after being on the end of a heavy challenge after only 26 minutes.
