Auckland - Britain yesterday won a New Zealand court injunction stopping the former spy, Mr Richard Tomlinson, from speaking about his work for British intelligence, officials said.

The New Zealand High Court in Wellington issued the injunction, which was served on Mr Tomlinson after he arrived in the country yesterday. Tomlinson was briefly detained in France last weekend with another former intelligence agent, Mr David Shayler, who is also wanted by Britain.
