Iarnród Éireann has announced an order for 67 new InterCity train carriages in an investment deal valued at €117 million.
The Minister for Transport, Mr Brennan, unveiled a model of the new carriages in Connolly Station this afternoon.
The new carriages will be used on the network's busiest routes and feature a streamlined, curved front on the driving cab area and a new livery.
