A heroin user who bullied his younger sisters and brothers has been told by a judge to leave his home or face jail.

Ms Ann Kelly, counsel for a west Dublin family that fears the 20 year old youth and his friends, told the Circuit Civil Court yesterday that conditions in the home had become intolerable.

He and his friends were suspected of using heroin and smoking hashish in the presence of the younger children.

Mr Justice Spain told the defendant he had a week to find alternative accommodation or he would send him to prison.
