SUPPLEMENTS DIRECTIVE:MEP Cathy Sinnott, a nutritional therapist, and Erica Murray, health store owner, are among those who will speak at a public meeting on the EU Food Supplements Directive (2002) in the Mont Clare Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin on Wednesday, September 14th at 7pm. The meeting aims to highlight possible withdrawal of high dosage vitamin and mineral supplements from Irish health stores following full implementation of the directive.

HEALING WORKSHOP:Healing your body by facing your emotions and making peace with your past is the controversial approach taken by American mind/body healer, Brandon Bays. Bays wrote a book called The Journey, following her own experience of getting rid of a uterine tumour in six weeks using mind/body healing without drugs or surgery. ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS MEETINGS:New developments in the treatment and management of the painful rheumatic disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis, will be discussed at public information meetings organised by the Ankylosing Spondylitis Association of Ireland in the following weeks.
