Stressing out over personal relationships

Our relationships can be our greatest source of joy but also our greatest suffering. A public talk exploring the stresses of interpersonal relationships goes ahead in the Swift Theatre, Trinity College Dublin tonight at 7.30pm. The talk will be given by Gregory Kramer, co-founder and president of the Metta Foundation, an international organisation which uses the insights of Buddhism to help people reach greater clarity and compassion in their relationships.

Psychologist and Healthplus columnist Tony Bates and Sister Stan, founder of the Sanctuary, will lead a four-week evening course in Mindfulness Meditation for those who have recently become unemployed. Support day for grieving parents

A support and information day for parents who have lost a young person to sudden cardiac death will be held in the Celtic Suite of Croke Park, Dublin on Friday.

Rebuilding lives after a break-up

The Marriage and Relationship Counselling Service is hosting a four- evening course for those who are separated or divorced. Open to men and women, the course aims to help people re-build their lives through discussing the emotions and issues that confront them. Gaiety camp for stammerers

The Irish Stammering Association (ISA) has teamed up with the Gaiety School of Acting to offer a week-long summer drama course for children who stammer.
