American life coach David Rude is back in Ireland to give workshops on self-discovery and motivation.

Rude will give three-hour long workshops in the Camden Court Hotel, Camden St, Dublin on Wednesday, July 28th at 7pm and Wednesday, August 4th at 7pm. €60/€50. He will also lead a residential workshop from July 30th to August 2nd in Chrysalis, Donard, Co Wicklow. Cost: €345. See davidrude.com

Introductory courses in Bach Flower Remedies will be held over the next few months in the Dublin suburbs. Participants will learn about the history and philosophy of the remedies as well as their practical uses.

Children should avoid forming unhealthy habits over the summer, according to the industry-sponsored Nutrition and Health Foundation (NHF).

Dr Muireann Cullen of the NHF advises parents to ensure children get enough sleep, eat healthy breakfasts, avoid snacking between meals, drink enough water and keep active over the summer holidays.
