Jerusalem - Palestinian gunmen killed one Israeli and wounded another yesterday near the town of Ramallah in the West Bank, public television reported.
Israeli military sources earlier said that Palestinian assailants had seriously wounded two soldiers near the Jewish settlement of Beit El near Ramallah, but the television did not identified the dead Israeli.
The latest death brought the toll of 13 months of the Palestinian uprising, or intifada, to 947, including 741 Palestinians and 184 Israelis.
