Athens - Greek diplomats began an indefinite worldwide strike yesterday to demand higher pay and benefits.
But their union said it would consider calling off the strike in the event of a new international crisis. The ambassadors and diplomats say they lack the funds to cover basic living expenses when posted abroad.
