Four girl guides will travel to the Republic of Georgia tomorrow to take part in a three week programme to help refugees fleeing war. Ms Fiona Barrett (22) from Cork, Ms Lorraine Corcoran (17), Ms Shona Kirkpatrick (17) and Ms Melissa Turner (17) from Dublin, will help with activities for refugee children in Ureki.

The project is part of an initiative between the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
