The husband of a murder victim, Philomena Gillane, was remanded on continuing bail yesterday after a short hearing in Galway District Court. Mr Patrick Gillane (33), of Glenbrack, Gort, is charged with soliciting Mr Christopher Bolger and Mr Michael Doyle in January 1994 to murder his wife.
Insp Paul Hargadon, prosecuting, said that an adjournment had been agreed with Mr Gillane's legal team. The case was adjourned to Galway District Court on February 28th.
