Between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. airports in Italy will be closed.

Aer Lingus has confirmed that flight EI 672, which had been due to depart Dublin at 7.10 a.m. to Milan has been rescheduled and will now leave Dublin at 14.20 p.m.

The return flight from Milan, EI 673, due to depart Milan at 23.30 p.m. has also been rescheduled and will leave at 18.40 p.m.

There is no change to Aer Lingus flights to and from Rome. Flight EI 506 will depart Dublin at its scheduled time of 14.10 and flight EI 507 will depart Rome at its scheduled time of 19.20.

Ryanair does not fly from Ireland Italy direct, but says that its flights from airports outside of Ireland will only be affected between 9am and 5pm today.
