Gardai last night recovered the body of an angler lost in waters off Gweebarra estuary near Glenties Co Donegal.
The man, a local in his 60s, was found washed ashore several miles from Gweebarra bridge. He was last seen fishing beneath the bridge on Tuesday night.
The remains were removed to Letterkenny general hospital. A post mortem will be carried out today.
