Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Tallaght last night. The attack happened at around 10pm in Cushlawn Walk when a man wearing a balaclava approached a parked van and fired two shots into the vehicle. Nobody was in the van at the time.
The culprit left the scene in a large silver saloon car, believed to have been driven by an accomplice, and headed in the direction of Kiltipper Road.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination this morning.
