Gardaí made contact yesterday with the family of John Forrester (42), whose body was recovered from the river Bandon this week.
Family members were traced four days after Mr Forrester’s body was found.
Relatives confirmed his identity just hours before the removal of Jonathan Duke (27), whose body was taken from the river on Sunday.
Gardaí appealed to anyone who might have seen Mr Forrester between 8pm on Saturday and midnight on Sunday to contact the Garda in Bandon at 023-8852200.
