Gardaí are to send a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions in three months in relation to the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old man in Dublin, writes Georgina O’Halloran.

Maurice Martin, Silver Lawns, Navan, Co Meath, was found injured in Finglas in the early hours of June 12th, 2009.

A postmortem by Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis found that the victim died of multiple stab wounds.

Det Insp William McKenna told a mention of the inquest into Mr Martins’s death at Dublin City Coroner’s Court that a file is being prepared for the DPP.
