Gardaí have today named the man killed in a three-vehicle collision in Co Tipperary yesterday afternoon.

The incident happend at about 2.45pm at Ballinattin, Rosegreen.

DJ Meehan (44) from Clonoulty, Cashel, who was a driver in one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver and male passenger of a 4 X 4 vehicle were taken to the South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel following the crash while the male driver of the third vehicle was uninjured in the incident.
