Gardaí are investigating a fire at the Citywest Hotel complex in west Dublin last night.
The fire began in the hotel's convention centre at about 6.30pm.
Two units of the fire brigade were called to extinguish the blaze, which a Garda spokeswoman said caused damage to rooms and offices in the centre.
Gardaí from Rathcoole are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
