Gardaí in Co Wicklow are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Ashford last night.
A 31-year-old man received a serious head injury in the incident at Woodview, Ashford at about 8.45pm.
He is currently in St. Vincent's Hospital where his condition is described as stable, a Garda spokesman said.
