The Garda in Galway are appealing for information concerning the death of a 25-year-old man whose body was found on the road near the village of Ardrahan yesterday.
A post mortem examination revealed that the man died from head injuries.
He has been named as Mr Joseph Bermingham from Cahertigue, Ardrahan.
Gardai said they were not treating his death as suspicious, but have not yet established how Mr Bermingham sustained his injuries.
