Galway city centre hotel destroyed by fire

An unoccupied hotel in Galway has been gutted in a fire early this morning.

An unoccupied hotel in Galway has been gutted in a fire early this morning.

Six units of the fire brigade fought the fire at Curran's Hotel on Eyre Square.

The top two storeys of the four-storey building were destroyed. The cause of the fire, which was discovered at 8 a.m., is not yet known.
