La Coruna - There is a lot at stake for three of Spain's senior political figures in tomorrow's elections in the autonomous region of Galicia, Paddy Woodworth reports. It is the first major electoral test for the young new Socialist Party (PSOE) leader, Mr JosΘ Luis Rodr∅guez Zapatero, who took over after his party's disastrous showing in last year's general elections.
The poll will also give an indication of the continuing popularity, or otherwise, of the Prime Minister, Mr JosΘ Mar∅a Aznar, whose Partido Popular (PP) won his first national absolute majority last year.
