The funeral of the Presbyterian minister, the Rev David Templeton, who died after a so called punishment attack, has been delayed because the authorities have said that his body cannot be released yet.
Mr Templeton (42) died on Monday from a heart attack six weeks after being beaten with nail studded cudgels by three masked man, believed to be loyalists, in his flat in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim. He had resigned as minister of Greyabbey Presbyterian Church after being found smuggling a gay pornographic video into Belfast from Amsterdam. ,The RUC has opened a murder inquiry.
