Travellers trying to find alternative routes between Ireland, Britain and France should be aware that there up to 60 sailings on average a day, the Irish Maritime Development Office (IMDO) says.
Full details of the six operators offering direct passenger services from five ports in Ireland to nine ports in Britain have been published on the IMDO website.
Additional sailings have also been scheduled to run between Cork and Swansea in Wales.
Three operators are providing direct passenger services between Ireland and France, with seven sailings per week to Cherbourg and Roscoff in Brittany.
The IMDO says that there are "varying degrees of foot and car capacity available", and passengers who are flexible should check directly with operators.
