BRUSSELS - A French children's choir has turned down an invitation to sing in Belgium because of a paedophile kidnap, sex and murder scandal, a Belgian choir leader has said.
"The French parents wondered whether it was a good idea to send their children to Belgium, after the paedophile scandal here," Mr Ivo Hendrickx, manager for the Cantabile children's choir in Merksplas, northern Belgium, said.
