A US airline offering unlimited free internal flights on September 11th has been booked out after eight hours.
Florida-based Spirit Airlines decided on the give-away of 13,400 seats because of travellers' reluctance to fly.
Other airlines are reducing their September 11th flights in response to weak demand.
Spirit officials say the free offer is a "thank you" to the American people.

Chief executive Mr Jacob Schorr said: "The sky should be full of Americans on that day. This will show that we're not a nation that can easily be brought down."
He estimates the offer is costing the airline around $500,000.
Customers who have already paid for tickets on September 11th will get credit for a future flight.
