Four people were taken to St Michael's Hospital in Dun Laoghaire after an boating collision in Dublin Bay, a spokeswoman for the hospital confirmed this evening.
The four, two woman and two men, were injured when a yacht and steel-hulled work-boat collided.
The Dun Laoghaire lifeboat was called to the scene and took the people off the yacht while rescue boats towed the damaged yacht back to shore, a spokesman for the Irish Marine Rescue Services told ireland.com.
All four have been described as being in a stable condition but two are still being examined for their injuries, the hospital spokeswoman said.
