A former Miss Ireland, Ms Siobhan McClafferty, has settled an action for damages against David Marshall (Salons) Ltd, Dawson Street, Dublin, for an undisclosed sum. Mr Paul Burns, counsel for Ms McClafferty, told Judge Liam Devalley in the Circuit Civil Court that the case could be struck out with no court order.
A full defence had been lodged by Mr James McArdle, counsel for Marshalls. Ms McClafferty, of Whiteoaks, Clonskeagh, Co Dublin, had sued the salon for £30,000 damages.
