Four former Christian Brothers who face over 80 charges of indecently assaulting young boys in their care at an industrial school appeared before Galway District Court yesterday. One of the men was sent for trial to the October sitting of Galway Circuit Court.
Two of the other accused were remanded on continuing bail to September. They are seeking depositions from the alleged victims. The fourth man, whose case is still under judicial review in the High Court, had it adjourned to the November sitting of the District Court.
