A man who was arrested last night in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident has been returned to prison.
The man (30), an inmate at Dublin's Cloverhill Prison, was questioned at Mountjoy Garda station in connection with a collision in Dublin last month after which a 14-year-old boy died.
A Garda spokesman said a file was being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions following the man's arrest and he had been returned to Cloverhill.
Conor Hickey of Attracta Road in Cabra died on December 3rd as a result of injuries sustained in the collision on the previous day.

He was hit by a car at the junction of St Eithne Road and Faussagh Road which failed to stop.
He had been a second-year pupil at the local gaelscoil Coláiste Mhuire.
