A Co Fermanagh farmer was found dead on Wednesday evening with his tractor almost submerged in a ditch.
Mr Tommy Hicks (65), of Kinawly, was found by two gardai on patrol at the Border crossing in Swanlinbar, Co Cavan. It appears Mr Hicks drowned when his tractor overturned into the ditch and his foot was trapped, preventing his escape from underneath his vehicle.
