Salisbury - A church minister yesterday advertised counselling sessions to moviegoers who feel traumatised after seeing the re-released classic horror film, The Exorcist. The Rev Malcolm Hathaway said movie images about a young girl who becomes possessed by the devil were still fresh in the minds of members of his congregation at the Pentecostal Elim Christian Centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire, who saw the film when it first came out in the 1970s.
With the film now showing in the city's Odeon cinema, he has placed an advertisement in the Salisbury Journal asking those "worried about the power of evil" to come to a special service on November 15th.
