An ex-GAA inter-county footballer was charged with money laundering in Dublin District Court this morning.
Former Kildare forward Mr Brian Nolan (34), with an address at 11 Roebuck Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin, was charged with two counts of money laundering at his address in September of this year.
When charged, Mr Nolan replied: "I didn’t know it was drugs money".
The amount of money involved is about £45,000.

Mr Nolan was released on his own bail of £3,000 and will appear in court again on December 6th.
The presiding judge was the District Court president, Mr Justice Peter Smithwick.
