An eleventh person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Dublin man Ciarán Noonan, whose body was found in Co Meath earlier this month.

The 29-year-old was abducted in Dublin after an assault in the East Wall area on October 20th.

A man in his 40s was arrested in the Dublin area this morning in connection with the case.

He is detained at Store Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, a Garda statement said.

Mr Noonan, who was living in Ashbourne, Co Meath, but was originally from Russell Avenue, East Wall, was last seen being bundled into a car.

His remains were discovered on November 4th, dumped in a field at Tullaghmeaden, about 10km outside Trim, Co Meath.

Gardaí investigating his death made their 10th arrest last Thursday. A man later appeared in court charged with false imprisonment.
