Labour Court talks between management of Element Six and unions adjourned today and will resume on September 29th.
The two sides at the company are expected to meet over the next few days in a bid to reach a deal over more than 200 staff who are being made redundant at the Shannon plant.
The company has put propsed a survival plan aimed at saving manufacturing and 163 of the 370 jobs at the plant.
However, Siptu refused to engage with the company pending the holding of talks at the Labour Court today on the terms of the redundancy deal on offer.
